So I've been in London for almost 2 days now and am alreay getting use to things. The train system is very easy to figure out and there are some nice and cheap restaurants. The only thing is once you realize 5 punds is 10 US dollars you think twice about ordering the food.
Everyone is very nice in the Hostel, we've met a few people, we stayed up until 4 the other night playing Uno with a guy named Thomas from Paris. We are rooming with two girls from France right now.
Today we took a tour of England and saw all of the sights, and took pictures of everything... we are the typical tourists ha ha.
We are already use to the time difference, it was not hard to get use to. I won't be able to post pictures until I am in Rome, but there will be plenty to post. In the mean time take care and thanks for reading. Ciao.

Almost there!
Hello everybody!

First and foremost, this is my first time Blogging, not really sure how to go about doing this, but I hope to get the hang of it sooner or later. Also, I am horrible with the English language, especially spelling and grammar, so don't judge me for my overuse of commas,,, or any other mistakes.
I am currently sitting in the O'Hare airport... PAYING 7 DOLLARS to use the internet, but it's worth it to talk to all of you. My flight leaves in about 4 hours from now so I'll have plenty of time to BLOG.
From here I fly directly to London with two friends. We'll get there about 7 am, but here in the states it will be more like midnight, so mom, be prepared to get a late call.
I will be staying in London for a week in a hostel. Stonehenge is about 80 miles outside of the city so I know I'll be seeing that, other than that I think we are just playing it by ear where we go and what we do. On Monday we are meeting a local band that my friend knows somehow, so that will be fun to meet people and get to know them right away.
After that week we fly to Rome and stay in Italy for the rest of the semester. Below is a map of where my apartment and studio are. Both are in the heart of Rome and very close to the Tiber island. The Coliseum, Vatican and Trevi fountain are less than one or two miles from where I will be studying!

Here is my studio address, just in case you wanted to $end me anything... hint hint.
Studio Address:
Piazza delle Cinque Scole 23
I will be getting back on here soon and updating you all with details, thanks for reading and take care.
